In an attempt to evaluate some before/after on Wizard, here are some videos. More plans on shoeing/riding/etc to come…

He looks tired and sore in the 2009 videos! In the 2010 vids he’s moving happily and more flat footed, like he’s not in pain. He’s also swinging through his body (back) nicely now. I know it’s been a lot of work the past year. It shows!
I looked at the 2010 trot video first and thought, “okay, a trot. So what”?
Then I looked at the 2009 trot video, and thought, “Ahhhh! There is so much improvement in the 2010 video!”
I’m not sure that I saw tired and sore as Wendy did in the 2009 vid, but there was definite improvement in the horse’s back and use of hindquarters in the new video. He isn’t going any faster, but his strides are much stronger.
